GEOCELLS
TerraCell is an innovative geosynthetic product made of high density polyethylene strips ultrasonically welded to form an extremely strong, honeycomb configuration. The TerraCell system and the appropriate fill material can solve a variety of engineering and construction challenges. Applications include: ground stabilization, slope erosion control, retaining walls, stream crossings, channel erosion control, embankments.
TerraCell can be used for many erosion control situations in place of more costly conventional systems, such as riprap, revetmet mats, or gabions. The cells confine whatever fill material (soil, sand, aggregate, cement) and protect it form being moved by wind or water.

TerraCell can turn non-cohesive soils into stable roads by confining fill materials and spreading loads efficiently.

TerraCell can be stacked to create vegetated retaining walls quickliy and inexpensively. TerraCell can be used alone to create a gravity wall or as facia in conjunction with a geosynthetic reinforcement such a TerraGrid.

TerraCell can be used in channel lining applications, to increase a channels resistance to erosive forces of fast moving water and concentrated flows.
