DESIGN & INSTALLATION CONSIDERATIONS

Dig a 2 to 4 inch wide trench using a trencher. The trench should be 3 inches deeper than the height of the drain. For large areas, use a herringbone pattern.
Place Strip Drain against one side of the trench and fill with sand. The top should be covered by 3 inches of sand.
Tee Connectors join Strip Drain ends to create branches. End Outlets attach Strip Drain to 4 inch pipe. Tee Connectors and End Outlets are available specifically for 6 inch Strip Drains. Universal Tee Connectors and Universal End Outlets are available for 12 inch to 36 inch Drains. Strip Drain Ends can be joined together with waterproof tape and /or additional fabric.
